Baby sleep??

I need advice my almost 5month old. Needs a bottle to fall asleep and wont sleep threw the night he has wants to eat every 2 to 3 hours and that's the only way go get him to sleep any advice on what I can try and do  differently

That sounds normal for 5 months, if he was breastfeeding he'd be up 3 times a night at this age..maybe try a more filling meal before bed?

Do you separate day and night in your house? (Go about normal activities during the day, lights on, tv on, talking normally vs lights off or dimmed, no tv, quiet around baby at night) Having a specific time that you settle everyone can help. Also, do a nice warm bath time at night. Use bedtime lavender soap and lotion. I also used a noise machine for sleep time. Any pattern or routine helps. 5 months is still pretty young though. My babies always went to bed with a bottle after this routine, but it helped keep them sleeping longer. If they woke and they no longer needed to eat overnight I would just change their diaper, rub more lavender lotion, reset the noise machine and put them back to bed. If they fussed I just rubbed their back or rocked them and tried again in a few minutes. After a few days, they learned to sleep through the night. (Older son was ready for this by 4 months, younger didn’t sleep through the night until 8 months) sorry for the book, but I know how frustrating this is!!
