Marijuana and Jobs

So I was talking to a friend the other day. She is an RN at a hospital. We were talking about how marijuana and marijuana products (CBD with THC, the cape form, gummies, etc. for example) are becoming more and more normalized, if you will. She said she would not be a fan of she if her nurses were high during a shift, and/or would be using during their shift. I said that if I was admitted to a hospital for something serious or whatever I wouldn't be confident or feel at ease of I noticed my nurse or medical team seemed high.

BUT I don't find marijuana a big deal. I personally do not smoke it anything cuz it just freaks me out. I can't handle it lol. But in my field (chef) it's always been somewhat normal. My thing has always been, as long as it doesn't affect your ability to do your job, and you don't use on my time, I don't care.

So it made me wonder. Does the profession your in make a difference for using marijuana or marijuana products? Would you be comfortable going to certain services, let's say medical or lawyer for example, if the person was clearly under the influence? What do you guys think?

P.S. This is in no way try to bash anyone who uses. Or uses for medical purposes.
