Thanks for your input! I’m pretty in love with this name, but I feel like if I tell people I’m going to get a lot of negative comments..

I'll never get why people would say anything about someone else's name choice. Unless you ask for an opinion (in my case I asked my cousins, who speak other languages, how would they pronounce certain names, but that's my personal choice and how I feel about including them since we're very close). 
If you love it, if it "feels right", then you go for it! 💪💕

We call him Will for short

My son has a friend in his class and his name is wilder .. he’s a cute little curly head boy! Fits him perfectly I think :)
