False positive??

I took a pregnancy test 12 dpo and it was a very faint positive which I had heard to be common. So I decided to wait a few days before taking another and today I was suppose to start my period(15dpo) which I did not so I took a test late after work. The test was negative and I’m so confused...

Was the first test read within the time frame? Could’ve been an evap or faulty test

Well if u took the first test in the morning and the other later in the day maybe??? In the morning ur hcg levels are higher when pregnant so it’s easier to get a positive?

I had multiple lines that I thought I were faint positives, but they were very much the indent line. This was the month before I conceived.

False positive??
