My story is that I basically had tried all forms of birth control the pill ( for which I got pregnant on) the patch that gave my hives the shot the ring and all of this stuff me and my husband have decided to not have kids yet and the iud by far is the best form I have ever been on... I'm on the Mirena and I haven't had my period every month which is the down side but the good thing is I don't have to worry about this that and the other thing with this iud... I have had no complications when it comes down to it. And I recommend it to girls who are lazy like me:) lol when I got it put in it was very painful I do have to say... I have experienced labor pains before and I have a high pain tolerance and I wasn't screaming but I was crying... I did get light headed after ward but it's nothing to be afraid of. My suggestion is to bring someone with you in the room so that you can squeeze there hand and drink plenty of water before hand and eat. But after that first day I was all good and haven't had any problems since :)
