Sleeping in pack’n’play...?

My babe is getting too big for his bassinet. We are ready to move him to a pack’n’play next. How do you not get the baby to roll over in it?  I’m nervous he will do that when we are sleeping. What are the best safety precautions I can take?  Thanks!

If hes rolling over on his own, hes fine to roll over.

You don’t do anything. It’s safe for baby to sleep on their tummy or in whatever position they choose as long as they put themselves in it. You may have issues with him / her waking up screaming from not being able to roll back over yet, but they will figure it out.

Pack n play aren't meant to sleep in Long term. They are more meant for a trip or sleepover. A crib with an actual matress is better for your baby.

If baby can roll over by itself, then it’s all good.
Just make sure you’re not swaddling after 8 weeks or if baby can roll over.

My son’s doctor said as long as he’s able to roll over from back to stomach and stomach to back then I shouldn’t worry about him sleeping on his stomach. That’s how my son has been sleeping since he started rolling over, at first I was so nervous but he sleeps 10x better on his stomach than he ever did on his back
