How to make dad make time for us?

My partner works hard as he feels he has to ensure we have a roof over our heads which he does. Doesn’t this happen to everyone? How do I make him relax and put work on the side and spend more family quality time together? He seems concerned about couple time but not family time. Don’t know what to do.

Same here. My husband works 14 hr shifts 6 days a week and he comes home sometimes at like 7:30 pm and kids bedtime is 8 and sometime baby is already asleep. He gets up for work at 3:30 am so he pretty much eats and goes to bed. It’s a constant battle with us (me being angry) that he doesn’t have time with his kids. I understand the working part, but he spends extra time talking while not on the clock and it takes away time from is kids. And if he does have a day off I feel like all we do is sit at home in front of the tv and that drives me crazy too. At least you get couple time lol I have no solution, just letting you know you’re not alone
