My best friend has a girlfriend who is possessive, but I’m not sure how unhealthy it is so I thought I’d confide in you lovely ladies. For privacy purposes the girlfriend’s name is Boo and my friends name is Rus, because why not?

Boo has blocked several friends on Rus’s phone. Friends that Rus has no romantic relations with. Boo has also texted from Rus’s phone pretending to be Rus, telling her friends that they aren’t friends anymore and how disrespectful they are of Rus and Boo’s relationship.

Boo threatens to kill herself if they break up. Boo gets mad when Rus doesn’t answer texts fast enough.

Rus told me that she knows it’s not ok but she’ll give it till they’ve been together for a month cause she thinks after a little while of being together it’ll get better and she’ll trust her more. It’s been almost 2 months.

It’s bad and Rus knows it’s bad, but the threat to kill herself scares her and she’s stuck. What do I do to help?
