Any expectant uk mums?

Hello!!

I’m in the North west and recently found out I’m expecting, phoned the GP and in the process of making my first appointment with the midwife.

Does anyone know if it is possible for weekend appointments with them? Or does it depend on your hospital? I ask because my husband is in the military and based at the opposite end of the county, so if we are only able to get midweek appointments he will miss out on them.

I know I need to ask the midwife, I’m waiting on her call tomorrow and thought I might find an answer here 😊.
