So I lost my virginity exactly 2 months ago today. I’m 18, turning 19 this year (a freshman in college currently). And I remember feeling like I was so late to losing my virginity. I almost let myself lose it to my ex (after we had broken up) just to get it over with. Thank God I didn’t though. I just wanted to let every virgin out there know that it’s okay to wait for someone that treats you well and until you feel ready. Until you feel like you can do it without regretting and cringing at it every time you think about it in the future.

My boyfriend, who I started dating almost 2 years ago, was so patient and he made my first time so amazing. It was special and it felt amazing. A little pain and bleeding involved, but mostly good... HAHAHA

Anyway, don’t feel pressured and don’t let yourself do something just because of the sole reason that everyone is doing it. And don’t feel ashamed of your virginity! OWN IT GIRL!! BE PROUD! you are a gem 💘💘
