Is it true that your hair falls out after giving birth?

Yep! My hair got very thin around y temples and my eyebrows also got really thin. Thankfully it all grew back. I looked a little fluffy for a while but it’s really not bad.

It did for me. I'd wake up in the morning and my bed would be covered in hair. I'd lose more when I brushed or washed it. I got very thin around the temples and top. When it grew back, I had all these tiny baby hairs everywhere that stuck straight up. Super annoying. It was a blessing I had super thick hair naturally, so the thinning was mostly only noticeable to me.

Hasn’t happened yet but I’m preparing. I’ve been told to stay on prenatals (was going to anyway to breast feed) and use a good shampoo/conditioner

Mine started around 5 or 6 months pp but you're mostly losing the hair you would have lost over time if you weren't pregnant. When you're pregnant your hair follicles are stronger so your hair gets thicker, after birth and your hormones shift the "extra" hair falls out.

I did starting about 4 months PP with my first. It’s the changing hormones around that time. But you don’t shed as much hair during pregnancy, so you lose the “extra” you accumulated the last 9 months.

My hair didn't get thicker during pregnancy so I don't think I had anything extra to lose after I had her.
But it is true that some women shed hair after giving birth. Others don't.

Mine did horribly!!! I was bald. Whole year of falling I think little over n it started regrowing. Good luck
