Sushi while BF?

My OB told me sushi was safe, but I had no idea I could not have tuna. I’ve been treating myself to sushi a LOT lately and breast feeding and I learned today that it’s not safe. Idk what to do. I’m going to stop eating it but I’m just freaking out. Will my LO be okay? Ugh.

It isn't the tuna itself thats bad...its the fact it tends to be a high mercury fish. Assuming you are getting sushi at a sushi place and not like 7/11 or Walgreens (yes both those places have sushi😬) and not eating like 25 pieces of raw tuna a day you should be fine.

Little one will be fine and I’ve never heard tuna was bad as wic actually gives tuna in their food thing 😂😂. But I’ve always ate it while pregnant and nursing and I have 3 healthy kids
