Female masturbation, Ladies help!

Ok sorry for TMI but I'm 35 been TTC #1 for 9 months and I have an extremely high sex drive...aka I can't get enough. My hubby and I were told to hold off on having sex multiple times a day to every other day, which is killing me. Has anyone heard of masturbating affecting pregnancy? My accupuncturist says no masturbating. She is very old school and doesn't want me ever masturbating lol. Ladies I need your help!
