Headache after smelling mildew?

Today I was cleaning my friends garage. When I looked behind her washer, she had wet towels behind it. I asked her if it was leaking and she said it has for a long time.

When I picked the towels up to move the washer I immediately smelled mildew. I threw them away but 10 or 20 later my head started hurting. I thought I was dehydrated since I'd been cleaning all day but I hydrated and it still was pounding.

I slept thinking maybe sleep would help but nothing is helping. It's still pounding 10 hours later. Could it have been the mildewed towels I handled today?
