My hopes are high! Fingers crossed ...

Today I was supposed to start my period. It never came. It's about 7:30 (Seattle, WA) usually it starts by lunch. I have been regular for the last 5 months like clock work. I took a Walmart .88cent cheap preg test yesterday just for fun (had some left over) and it was negative. Would it show up on there if I was Prego? I was having poking (not cramps) earlier on one side but that about it! No symptoms of any kind. Don't know what to think ...
