PCOS with Thyroid trouble.. help!
Hi, if this is not allowed here, I'm very sorry. Ever since I was 14, I had irregular periods. I would get my period and after it ended I wouldn't get it and sometimes I wouldn't get it for up to 6 months. When I was 16, I found out I had an under-active thyroid.(thyroid issues run in the family). I was put on medicine for that and for a while it started getting more "regular", where I would get it and than not get it for 3 months and so on. In March I was "diagnosed" with PCOS (ultrasound and internal sonogram) , went to a gyno and the doctor never ran any other tests (in the ultrasound and such they didn't see any cysts) all he did was look at my symptoms and the tests I already had done and said I had it. I was prescribed BC but after 3 months stopped taking it (don't feel like explaining why) I'm 20 years old and TTC my first but I feel like I'm hoping for the inevitable. Can anyone help, or relate?
