Any other November babies still swaddled at night?

My daughter will be 5 months tomorrow and is still using a Halo Swaddle Sack at night. She can roll tummy to back but seems to go in spurts. She was also a month early. Just wondering how other littles are doing with swaddling.

I stopped swaddling at 4 months cause that’s when she learned to roll back to tummy. So it just seemed too dangerous to me. She’s doing great and doesn’t have a startle reflex anymore.

Tried to drop the swaddle but no such luck! She can only roll tummy to back so until she rolls on her own from back to tummy, we will keep swaddling since it works! I don’t think she appreciates all the space she can have yet! 😂She still likes to be snug. Turned 5mo on the 1st-born 3 weeks early.

I stopped even though mine can’t roll yet. She’s 5 months old you never know when they’ll just do it. You probably won’t even be looking. With my son he was sleeping in his bassinet and I woke up and he was just on his tummy 🤷🏻‍♀️ had never done it before.

My daughter is swaddled for naps and at bedtime. She does manage to wiggle her arms out while she sleeps though🤷🏻‍♀️

Our daughter can’t roll at all yet and is still swaddled for naps (when we have a video monitor that we watch) but not at night.

I stopped swaddling around 4 months. My son was attempting to rolll over and rocked his body a lot from side to side.
He was sleeping so well. 10-12 hours per night, soundly, when he was swaddles. Unfortunately when I stopped swaddling him, he sometimes woke up. But if course I had to choose safety over my sleep. It temporarily changed his sleep, but it got better.
Now he’s hit another regression I think lol

Mine can roll and we stopped swaddling, but lately she's been so agitated at night due to eczema. Last night I decided to swaddle arms out with the Halo and she slept so much better, so I'm really not sure what to do with.

My daughter will be 5 months in a week. She was 2 days past due. We have tried a few times to swaddle one arm out or to cold turkey with a sleep sack. Failed miserably with both. She isn’t rolling back to tummy yet 🤷🏻‍♀️

Swaddling after two months increases risk of death due to suffocation with accidental rolling. Not worth the risk. I’m a physician and a pediatrician friend of mine had a 5 month old patient die because he rolled in his swaddle and suffocated. Not worth it!
With all the press around rock n play deaths it’s a good time to discuss safe sleep.

My LO is almost 5 months and she uses the halo sleep sack. She refuses to roll over so until she dies we are going to use it although she always gets her hands out at night
