How long did it take for your LO’s umbilical cord to fall off?

My LO just turned two weeks today and his is still hanging on! I just want to give him a real bath!! So anxious for it to finally be gone!!

Put some drops of alcohol to help it dry up and fall. Its still gonna be another week or soo for a real bath since his belly button will be raw and still needs to dry afterwards.

Our sons was still on at our two week appointment and our pediatrician told us to start rubbing a q-tip with alcohol around it & it fell off two days later

Mine daughters just fell off Sunday. She was 3 weeks on Monday. I had to take her to get silver nitrate put on it at the pediatrician's because it was oozing. They said it's pretty common. But it was gross. Haha
