How long should I wait to move on from a 15 year toxic relationship? Like idk how soon is to soon? Idk even know where to start looking TBH...

Everyone says I am pretty but i feel like I'm not like they lie to make me feel good about myself...my ex made me feel like something is wrong with me...like I am fucked up when i did or said certain things
Maybe he was right there is no one out there for me

Go to therapy. Honestly. Make the next year about you. Have an ear/pray/love year without too serious of love. If you jump to the next person too soon, you won’t have time to unwind all the toxicity your ex left you with. 15 years is a long time.

I mean there’s really no set time that it should take you to be over what you’ve gone through. 15 years is no joke. Some people may be able to move on quicker than others. What matters is that you’re taking care of yourself and that you can learn to love yourself without someone else, before trying to bring someone else into your life again.
