Pelvic pain?

Question

Anybody else having really bad pelvic pain? It hurts to lay down, try to get up or even walk, I had to take the day off work because it's been hurting so bad that I can't walk. Anybody else going through this and might know why? I'm 35 weeks and have my doctors appointment Friday...

I had pubic symphysis disposition with my first two.  I have had it with this pregnancy as well, but it hasn't been as bad as my other pregnancies.

For me, the pain was concentrated on the lower part of my pubic bone in the front.  It would even hurt to the touch - like a really bad bruise - which initially surprised me because it wasn't like there was direct trauma to the area.  I had issues walking, specifically walking up stairs and like others have mentioned, putting my pants on.

The thing that helped me the most was going to a chiropractor trained in the Webster method.

If you can't afford a chiropractor right now, you might be able to manage the pain by leaning against your bed when you put your pants on and taking frequent walks.  The walking might seem counter intuitive, but my experience was that getting up and moving seemed to lessen overall pain - although it always hurt a bit in the beginning of each walk.

Oh gosh yes!..it's even hard to put my pants on and my job doesn't take it easy on me either...I'm 35 weeks as well and I work in a Drs office and they double book like crazy even after if begged them to take it easy on the schedule since I have to do a lot of walking when taking patients back. I have to work 2 back to back 11 hr days and those are the days that I'm in the most pain since they book anywhere between 18-22 for me to take back..I didn't get that pelvic pain until the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy with my first 2. But I think this job is part of the reason I'm having it so bad with this pregnancy😔hang in there!.all you can do is just put up with it. That's what I'm forced to do

Sounds like spd, I've been suffering since 28 weeks and it gets worse the bigger baby gets. Google it, it's to do with your body releasing a hormone due to you being pregnant. Unfortunately it's one of those things you have to put up with until you give birth. I've been waiting to hear back from physio for as long as I can remember but I'm due in 3 weeks so more than likely baby will be here before I hear anything. I never ever had anything like this with my first. It sucks 😔 hang in there, just 5 weeks to go before your bundle of joy is here ❤️
