What exactly is a bloody show?

I’m 38 weeks and had some light pink when I went to the bathroom this morning. Is this considered the bloody show? If not what exactly is the bloody show? FTM!

Just call your midwife or doctor to let them know you’ve had some bleeding. That’s maybe not it as it will be a thick blog of mucus that sometimes has some blood in it. You don’t need to do anything if it is a bloody show but it means early labour might not be that far away :) x

I just had a spot and still nothing has happened, I’m 38 weeks and this was a few days ago.. I think it regenerates unless you are loosing a substantial amount of blood then you should be fine, any contractions and make sure your timing them🤷🏼‍♀️

It could be the beginning of it. You should see a doctor about it ASAP.
