Labor around the corner? 36 weeks 😍

Question

Today I had my 36 week check up, baby boy has dropped, and I am 2CM dilated and 70% effaced! I’m a FTM, so ladies how much longer do you think I have??

Answer

Unfortunately dilation, effacement means nothing on how much longer. I was a fingertip dilated and 50% effaced my doc didnt think I would make it to this weekend and here I am in a bath doing what I can to induce at home and nothing. My last pregnancy at 36 weeks I was 5cm dilated and ended up staying that way until I was medically induced at 39 weeks.

I’ve been 3cm & 70% for over a month now ! Were talking about induction because my dr thinks I might get stuck there ... lol so you can either start labor or it can stay like that for a couple more weeks ..
