I'm exclusively breastfeeding

I've been reading about breastfeeding as a form of birth control and apparently if you do it right and haven't had a period yet it's supposedly effective for the first 6 months. Have any of you gotten pregnant. While exclusively breast feeding? No pumping. I'm nervous I'm going to get pregnant but I hate how BC makes me feel! (And condoms gross me out) lol
