Pregnancy from precum, myth or fact?

My partner and I use withdraw method of birth control. We both know about precum and that it may contain traces of sperm. when researching the likely hoodof getting   pregnant from it, I always seemed to come across conflicting evidence. So what I guess I'm try to ask is, do you know any information that may shine a light on if it is a myth or not?

My SO and I have been using it for 2 years and never had any accidents! It worked up until about 9 weeks ago!! I am now 9w 3d pregnant and I can honestly say it was from precum! It was quite the shock to us! Haha

Myth, perfect use of the withdrawal method has now been pointed out to be one percentage point more effective than condom use because many use them irresponsibly. Go ahead and search it, for 3 years we didn't have any scares due to perfect use of withdrawal.

I did a lot of research into this as I used this method for 2 years with no pregnancies and borderline obsessive fertility tracking. It was too stressful for me so I finally got a long acting reversible contraception.

So here's what my research I uncovered: based on studies, they found that about 50% of men had sperm leak in their precum and about 50% didn't. ALSO if they did not urinate between ejaculations, sperm leftover from the first ejaculation  could join the precum and enter your vagina and get you pregnant.

I have two friends who got pregnant from this method and many friends who have been doing it for years with no surprises. It's a roll of the dice really. I decided to get a larc mainly for peace of mind.

I got pregnant at 16 using the pull out method. Worked for about 9-10 months, we used a condom sometimes but when we didn't he would pull-out. One of those times the Previn found my egg! Lol CAREFUL!

Pre-cum is the bodies way to get any urine left over out of the man's urethra. Usually there wouldn't be any sperm in the pre-cum unless he had ejaculated and had not gone pee before you had intercorse. It's not a "myth" it's just very uncommon because most men go pee in between each sex session.

Fact. An ex friend of mine became pregnant from that method. Most people know someone who used the pullout method.
