Bad spasms

Hey ladies, I wanted to ask if any of you get any rectal pain/spasms/cramps while on your period, I had a baby 2.5 months ago and didn’t have this issue before she was born. I’m supposed to be getting the copper IUD on Thursday ,but now that my cramps are bad I’m considering not getting it. Can someone help me figure out what’s going on and how I can stop this pain and give me advice on getting BC or not? Thank you so much in advance .
