Would I be selfish to ask my mother who watches our son full time to wait to move?

So I was accepted into a two year nursing program. My mother who is also our full time baby sitter just told us that she plans on moving to Florida this winter, she does not want to go through another New England winter. Now we’re freaking out, our son is only one. There’s no way we will be able to afford daycare on my husbands salary when I start my nursing program. When I was first accepted my mom told us that she will be here to help. I know this post probably sounds selfish but idk what to do. My mother is only turning 60 next year and she doesn’t really know anyone in FL.
