Congenital Heart Defect

My son was back in the hospital at 2 weeks old for Tachypnea. All his tests came back normal except his Echo which showed a small ASD. They chalked up his breathing to a viral infection. He has since had two more respiratory infections, most recently RSV where we have to use a nebulizer. His oxygen stats are always good though and I wonder if the two are related. My daughter who is 7 and has asthma didn’t have any breathing issues as an infant. Has anyone had experience with this?
