Have a 2 year old and 3 month old. My mom watched my 2 year old until I went on maternity leave with my second. Now we are sending the older one to daycare because she can’t handle both (it is hard, don’t blame her). But I was telling my cousin’s wife about the situation. She is a SAHM. I personally do not have the financial stability to be a SAHM. But her response to my situation made me feel horrible. “Oh my God, how do you do it? I could never do that. I hope those daycare people are vetted.” I wanted to simultaneously cry and punch her in the face. My 2 year old has been doing fine for the past two weeks, but I still have anxiety EVERY.DAMN.DAY. Words of encouragement, please.
