Not going to prom

My boyfriend is a senior and I’m a junior. Prom is right around the corner and tickets are crazy expensive. A couple months ago they were way cheaper but I didn’t want to go then. Now I really wanna go but I know he can’t due to money problems. I feel awful because when he had the money to pay for both of our tickets I didn’t want to go, and he wouldn’t go without me. He said it’s fine and we have something else planned for prom night but i still feel bad because it’s his senior year and i really wish he could get the prom experience 😕
