Can Provera help you get pregnant?

Delete if not allowed, but on any other group no ones commented/helped me. I was wondering if Provera/Medroxyprogestrone can help you get pregnant? My partner and I have been ttc for one year and 8 months and my

periods are super irregular. I’m barely going to see an OBGYN this friday. If all goes well and nothing appears to be wrong, I was thinking about asking to be prescribed Provera to help me conceive, problem is I don’t know too much about it and I tried searching on google more about Provera but all I ever read is that it helps stimulate your period. Have any of you gals taken Medroxyprogestrone or know anything about it? Any advice/stories/etc. would mean the world to me!
