I cant seem to find a real confident answer online. I have 9 days until my projected period date. I ovulated on April 5th. Is this spotting? Occurred after sex and there was no pain. TTC too

I don’t think this is implantation. I would assume it’s your period.

Keep in mind that implantation bleeding only occurs in like 10-15% of confirmed pregnancies. So dont worry, not everyone will get it! There are many reasons to find blood mid-cycle (irritated cervix from sex, ovulation, early period, stress, medication, ruptured nabothian cyst on cervix, to name a few), so its very hard to confirm if it is in fact IB, or just mid-cycle bleeding. No this isn't from implantation spotting. This kind of spotting only occurs in 20% of pregnancies and isn't this heavy

If it occurred right after sex I would say no. Implantation doesnt happen that fast. In my experience it also looks a little too bloody to be implantation but that could be just me. I've always seen it look more on the pink side
