6 week and 3 days and spotting

Chavita

Im sorry if this turns into a long post. I am considered high risk by my OBGYN since the moment we found out due to medical condition, previous loss, and my last pregnancies numerous complications. I’ve had one sono but couldn’t quite see anything at 5 weeks. I was told to take it super easy(no lifting, exercising etc) and suppose to go back on Thursday for another sono. I felt baby was doing great until yesterday.

Yesterday my son was out sledding in the lovely April snow shower we received here in IL. His sled went to fast and too far and went down in the wrong way towards a ravine area with lots of branches and fallen trees. His leg and foot got trapped between some branches but it stopped him from going further. My husband works a few min from home so I called him to come help get our son up and out. He was fine but cold and scared and I knew I couldn’t lift the branch if need be or him. So I went down the hill just a wee bit so I could comfort him for the minute it took my husband to get home. I fell over a branch I couldn’t see under the snow. I didn’t feel any different at the time and my husband was able to quickly get my son out. He was fine. Not a scratch on him. Just a little shook up. I felt fine other than my rib hurt where I had fallen.

Started spotting an hour later. Dark brown at first and then a lighter brown and then a pink with red tint when I would wipe. It wasn’t a lot and wasn’t heavy but it was enough to concern me since it kept changing color. My husband called dr late last night. Dr wants me to come in today for sono in the morning. I am concerned. I am hoping dr will chalk it up to spotting since it hasn’t changed in flow, only color. My husband and I both said we weren’t going to get excited yet but we both are hoping so much this little one sticks. Could you please send positive vibes and If you pray could you please be praying for our little one that we will see a flicker of a heartbeat, hear one, or at the very least dr sees progression? My husband and I are praying for progression today and that our little one is sticking. Thank you and I’m sorry for my crazy long post. I don’t have any one else but a few people to share with or talk to since we are waiting quite a bit to share the news and it is still so early. my husband and I would appreciate the prayer. Thank you♥️🙏
