Size of avocado?

Is this really accurate? My belly is big and the app says that my baby is the size of avocado? Please ladies explain to me. I feel as if my baby is bigger than avocado 😁

Its talking about the length of the baby is the same length of an avocado. Most of the bump at the beginning of the second trimester is the uterus expanding not the baby.

You also have to think that your belly doesn't just have your baby in it. It has your placenta, expanding uterus, and baby is pushing all your organs up, etc, so your belly is going to be bigger than the baby itself. There's lots of stuff smushed in there!

Lol that measurement doesn’t include arms and legs until you’re 20 weeks. Even the doctor will measure your baby from head to butt instead of head to heel

Look up average size of uterus at your stage, it’ll make more sense.
