Hi! So my husband and I are planning on fostering soon. We would take in kids 0-6 years old (were young, as we get older well accept older kids but they need an authority figure that looks like a grown up to them). Maybe well need a crib but who knows what well get. I found extendable beds from IKEA that go from toddler to twin and figured itd be perfect!

What do you think of my design?

Also we would be buying a couple of bedspreads and let the kids choose their own, maybe 4 or 5 to choose from?

My state allows up to 3 same sex kids in a room (exceptions for siblings). I'm pretty sure well be certified soon our state is being less picky since they had so little homes that had to put kids in PRISONS and have the guards be technically the foster parents because we have so little homes.

EDIT: I'm not saying well be certified only because they've been less picky, more that in certain well get certified because they're less picky
