Fetal movement

Katrina

I'm going to be that person and ask about decreased fetal movement when I know I should probably just call the nurse line and ask them. Bare with me and give me some advice.

What I'm wondering is, do you need to be concerned about the baby moving less, or just if it's not moving at all?

I'm 40 weeks with a baby that already isn't a frequent mover. I typically feel it move less on weekends because of the difference in my activity level. Just like always, baby moved less this weekend, and I haven't felt it move a ton today. I can get it to move a little bit here and there by doing the things that usually work, but overall it is moving less often and less intensely than normal.

Is that something I should call in about? I imagine it's pretty crammed in there so I don't blame it for not moving 😆
