Does your boyfriend/husband go limp with condom?

My boyfriend and I used a bareskin condom tonight because I had to stop BC for a while..he was rock hard then as soon as he put the condom on he went limp and said its cause he cant feel much with condom.. weve only used a condom 1x before in the beginning of our relationship and it didn't happen so I'm wondering why now? I feel insecure now..

Just keep trying. He will get used to it especially if he is young (under 23 or so). It doesn't feel as good but it feels better that chlamydia.

Yes this has happened with one of my boyfriends too. I think the condom just makes them lose the erection when they’re typically used to raw sex. Could also just be a mental thing. Either way I don’t think it’s you. He’s probably just not used to the lack of sensation. Just keep trying. He should be able to get over it with time

Only if we got the wrong size. We sized up and it didn't effect him anymore.

Because he got used to the way sex felt without a condom. My boyfriend doesn’t like condoms either because he can’t feel anything. We tried using a dental dam so I could “see how it felt” once. It’s not as warm, he can’t feel you getting wet, and (according to my boyfriend) they cut his circulation off. We had sex with a condom only a couple times before I started birth control. He tried it once or twice after we had raw sex and couldn’t really get hard or stay hard

He doesn’t go limp, but he definitely hated wearing a condom, honestly we both hated it 🤷🏻‍♀️
Took away sensation from him, and I just don’t like the feeling of a condom inside me either.
