Placenta bleeding

Pregnant with our third finally a little girl I’ve been waiting my whole life for. Woke up at 27 weeks 2 days with bright red blood lost about a half a cup. Baby is great I guess my placenta let go a tiny bit and hemorrhaged. But stopped pretty quickly they sent me home. Then they called me last night Said i should head in today to be admitted to get steroid injections first round for baby just in case. I’m freaking out !! Never had this with my other two. Anybody else know of anyone dealing with this??
