So my 7 1/2 month old had a cold about 2 weeks ago. During that time she had 3 bouts of diarrhea. After that she started having a vaginal discharge. She hasn’t had a discharge since she was a newborn. So of course I called her dr and made an appointment, but he ended up calling me back and saying that the discharge is normal and that I didn’t have to bring her in. I’m struggling with this, especially since it JUST started. There is very little discharge and there’s no smell to it. She doesn’t look irritated or inflamed. It’s white and semi watery looking and not with every diaper change. Sometimes in her morning diaper, it looks like the discharge has crusted on the outside. This has been going on for a week now. I’m just wondering if this really is normal? I’m worried that she might have BV from the diarrhea 😩
