Kick counts??? STM but help me understand
This may sound like a silly question, I’m a STM and almost 29 weeks with my baby girl, but my MW hasn’t mentioned counting kicks nor did my OB during my first pregnancy mention it either! She just said “if you don’t feel movement for extended time, give us a call”
Google says it’s so Mom can be aware of baby’s routine/schedule and it can raise red flags and possibly signal distress in 3rd tri if baby is “off schedule” or isn’t moving like she normally would. Is this what/why your OB/MW are telling you to count kicks in your pregnancy in the 3rd tri?? Kinda worries me I wasn’t told in either pregnancy about this especially this one bc of complications I’m having! 😬 Help me understand! I’m thinking I’ll just start tracking her kicks/movement anyways but is it literally just kicks felt within her most active time or is it all throughout the day?! Im so confused!!
