Getting reffered to a specialist and getting sent for series of tests. What ehould i expect?

My family doctor has always been amazing and her hearts for her as she seen my girl to grow up for 6 years and me wanting a baby so bad. I lost one last year around this time so this is pretty heartfelt for me and I'm really hoping of what's going to come out of it will be successful. What should I expect? My understanding I will be put on some sort of hormone injections or pills? Any input of what I should expect would be greatly appreciated.
