Will the doctors tell me how much my baby weighs?

I’ll be 27 weeks and 5 days at my next appt and i’m wondering if my doctors will know how much the baby weighs and if they will tell me? They have never told me her weight before or anything although they measure my belly at every appt. Not sure if thats how they know the weight or not but i’d like to know how much she weighs now. Do I just ask?

They may be able to give you a general estimate but it could be way off. The best way for them to have an idea would be by taking measurements on a ultrasound but you likely won't get another ultrasound and measuring your belly tells them nothing about babies weight it just tells them how much your uterus has expanded

They told me at 28 weeks +1 bc i had to have a repeat ultrasound to check baby boys heart and at 28 weeks and 1 day he was already 2 lbs 11oz!!!
