Positive rapid Response pregnancy Test but MY PERIOD isnt due for a week??? Questions

I took a rapid response test at 9 dpo. I got a positive right away.
I thought those would only turn up positive the day of your missed period 
Why is this happening!??

I got a positive 12 days before my missed period, could just be you ovulated early, but doesn't always mean twins! I'm definitely only having 1 little one

You can get a positive before your period...all depends on when you implant!

Your hcg is probably just up high enough. No it doesn’t automatically mean twins. Hcg doesn’t determine twins and neither does a dark line.
