Birth control help?

I had a implant in my arm for 4 months and I was bleeding non stop so I got it tooken Out of my arm and put on a low dosage birth control well I was still on my period for the whole month so now I'm on a higher dose birth control pill that I started 2 weeks ago and I've been having sex with my husband and I'm a busy mom of 1 and I fall a sleep at night and forget to take the pill sometimes so I take it when I remember and sometimes I have had to double up... could I end up pregnant? I need the birth control because my hormones are really bad I will have a period for 3 months then I won't have a period for other months it's bad.. so that's why I take birth control..

Why I'm asking this question is I have never ever been on any type of birth control ever till now..so I need help knowing things like this
