How much longer??

I had my 36 week check up today and my doctor told me that I’m 50% thinned out and 1 cm dilated. He said he doesn’t think I will make it through next week without going into labor. But how soon do you think this could happen?? I’m so ready to meet my little one!

Your cervix is not a crystal ball, it can't tell you when you'll go into labor. You could stay like that for weeks.

Dilation really don’t mean much till labor. I don’t even get cervix checks till after 40weeks. Some women walk around dilated for weeks and others don’t dilate till labor.

I’m 3cm 70% effaced I’ve been like this for a good long 5 weeks now lol 😆 I wish they were able to tell when we will be going into labor

I was 3cms for 6 loooong weeks

I was 100% and 3-4cm for 3 weeks before my water broke at 38.6 weeks

I was 75% effaced and 2 cm dilated for 2 weeks and went into labor at exactly 39 weeks
