QUESTION! 🤪

I’m 20 and my boyfriend is 21, we have been together 4 years living together for one year and are both still in school. While I know we can’t afford a wedding yet I still really want to get engaged. Has anyone else stayed engaged for years before having a wedding and has anyone else just decided upon a proposal instead of being proposed to? A proposal is definitely not our style but I feel like it’ll be disappointing to everyone without a big story 😂
