1st Doctors appointment

Hello my fellow mommies 👋🏾

I called today to set a doctors appointment since I found out I was prego & instead of me seeing a nurse or checking on the baby the scheduler said that I have to have a financial appointment. She said bring income from my last 30 days & proof of my residency. I have to attend this appointment she said rather I have Insurance or not (which I do) My first appointment was nothing like this with my first baby. my first appointment I didn’t check on the baby either but we went over family history,if I use drugs, had any stds and what not. But nothing about how much I make & where I live . This is just so weird to me. Did anyone else have to do this ?

I’m still going to go but I really wanted to check on the baby so badly 😔
