Pregnant with an IID?

So I've been feeling off I have a 6 month old and got an IUD called skyla at my 6 week PP appt but I decided to take a pregnacy test because I've been feeling nauseous lately and I got this

How likely could it be I could be pregnant with an IUD?? This is a dollar store .99 test...

That definitely looks positive.  Was it within the readable time frame? Unfortunately,  pregnancy with an IUD can happen.  Call your OB asap. Best of luck!

I had a friend who got pregnant with an iud. It happened around the time she had it put in again though and it wasn’t working at full strength. She didn’t even find out until like 4 months along! They couldn’t remove it at that point because her uterus was too high up. They classified it as a high risk pregnancy, but she never had any issues and had a healthy baby girl!

Well it isnt 100% effective, like all birth control methods except abstinence
