21 weeks & contractions

I was having abdominal cramps today and so I went to labor and delivery just to be sure, it’s my first baby. I wasn’t sure if I was just constipated or if they were Braxton Hicks or contractions. The nurses determined they were contractions.

So I got a urine staple I was not dehydrated they stopped my iv my doctor said he was proud of how hydrated I actually was.

Then said he’s not sure what is causing it, but I only had 3 in the 3.5 hours I was in the hospital and my cervix is tight.

Has any of you experienced this so early? I’m 21 weeks 4 days :)
