Anyone else recieving progesterone shots to prevent preterm labor?

Im a bit panicky due to $$$ can't afford my last 3/4 doses which costs 120 a month.  Since im 34.6 wks....had my  weekly shot yesterday....wondering if waiting 2 extra days will effect me/ baby.  Ugh $$$$

This is so sad to me. Health care is failing so many people. I will forever be thankful I m in canada. I grew up in the states til I was 17. As much as health care isn’t perfect here in canada either, there’s no moms in this dilemma. I’m so so so sorry.
I would be really up front with your dr about this predicament and they will help you make a good decision ❤️ I’m so sorry you’re faced with this.

Most people I know stop their preterm labor shots at 34-36 weeks anyways, and you’re at a pretty good gestation if you do go into labor! I’m not on the shots, but ive been on the preterm labor pills since 17 weeks and I’m just finishing mine up next week (35 weeks) which is when I had my first daughter! She spent a little less than 2 weeks in the NICU, but was very healthy! I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this though, I’ve heard the shots are insanely expensive. My medication is completely covered by insurance.
