Eczema note

We have been struggling with baby eczema. Were following pediatrician advice, using hydrocortisone 1% and Aquaphor, all the usual advice about detergent and humidifiers etc. Couldn't knock it totally down. The itching has been contributing to sleep issues (waking frequently, unable to be soothed without nursing).

We saw the dermatologist yesterday, and she suggested some changes to our treatment and a new Rx. Last night the ONLY change we made was layer CeraVe cream instead of Aquaphor over the hydrocortisone 1%. We hadn't had a chance to pick up the Rx yet. Little one slept SO well last night (6 hrs!) AND has no redness this morning! I LOVE CERAVE CREAM.
